Luis Enrique phones up transfer target Denis Suarez

FC Barcelona coach Luis Enrique called Denis Suarez up a few days ago to confirm the Bluagrana were interested in signing him as quickly as possible and ask him for calmness to help speed up negotiations. The coach also spoke about his intentions for the player, but warned him talks to sign him would be long and difficult. He also said they would sign him in June, if they can't manage it now, because they are very pleased with his level of performance. 

Barcelona started the process of trying to bring him back a few months ago, after a direct order from Luis Enrique. The coach started to see Nolito was not going to come in January and wanted Suarez. Lucho wants him to play in an attacking position, like he is doing at Villarreal, where he's enjoying an excellent season. 

Villarreal are trying to acquire a replacement but the progress is slow, which is making Barcelona impatient. They are also trying to sign Nolito on loan but this is very complicated. They hope to sign Suarez next week, but it cannot happen until Villarreal announce their first signing o the winter window - and currently there is no clear candidate. The wait continues...
