The Barcelona boss says Los Blancos have two tricky games to go

He was also happy with Marlon Santos' impressive La Liga debut

Luis Enrique was "very satisfied" with Barcelona's performance against Las Palmas on Sunday. And that's despite things starting off on the wrong foot. "We didn't want to risk Mascherano after he noticed some discomfort in the warm-up," he said, while pointing out that makeshift right-back Lucas Digne "is left-footed, he's left-footed."

Therefore, it meant a league debut for young Brazilian Marlon Santos in the middle of defence. "He played great, he was relaxed and always found the best solutions with the ball," Luis Enrique said, before revealing Digne was replaced at right-back by Andre Gomes due to an injury. "He's a player who is prepared for everything and in any position; with players like this you can go to war," the Barça boss said of the Portuguese midfielder.

Barça's win keeps them top, but Real Madrid's victory against Sevilla means the title is still in their hands. "They have two very difficult games against two teams, Celta and Malaga, who we have lost against this season. And if we have lost there than anyone can lose there. And I want to point out that we have lost in Vigo many times," Lucho said lookign for positives.

Luis Enrique also denied that there's any lack of confidence in Malaga putting up a fight: "That's not true, words have been put in my mouth. I've never doubted anyone's professionalism."

In any case, all Lucho wants now is "to win next Sunday against Eibar at Camp Nou."
