For his debut in the Champions League as Barcelona manager he has left Javier MascheranoPedroJordi AlbaSergio Busquets and Martin Montoya out of his squad.

All the players have been left out for technical reasons; not due to injuries or suspensions.

Douglas, a summer signing from Sao Paulo, is included among the players called up for the match against APOEL Nicosia, however, and the Brazilian full-back could be in line to make his Barça debut.

Dani Alves, a fitness doubt, is also available.

Munir El Haddadi and Sandro Ramirez remain involved, while Sergi Samper has also been named on the list.

The 19-year-old could be in line to take Busquets' place in the side.

Here is the full squad:

Ter Stegen, C. Bravo, Pique, Rakitic, Xavi, A. Iniesta, Messi, Neymar, Rafinha, Bartra, Douglas S., Sergi Roberto, Adriano, Dani Alves, Mathieu, Samper, Sandro, Munir.
