Luis Enrique: "We have three great keepers and they are under contract"

FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique did not want to enter into the goalkeeping debate following Barça's 4-2 friendly win over Leicester City.

He said: "We are dealing with the issue with absolute normality, we have three great goalkeepers under contract, who behave in a perfect manner.

"That is still the case today, after several seasons and we do not have any problem.

"Someone leaving does not worry me in the slightest, that is the situation that we have."

The coach was happy and proud regarding the play of the younger members of the squad that participated against both Celtic and Leicester, and their dedication during pre-season training:

"They have been very good, they have quality, enthusiasm, a high level and I am sure they will have a good season.

"They have shown their capacity and ambition during the whole stage."

Munir was one of the stand-out players on Wednesday night with his two goals, so much so that some are wondering whether it is necessary to sign a fourth forward, or if the position is filled adequately by the young attacker.

Luis Enrique commented: "I have a lot of confidence in Munir and he also scored goals last season.

"He is a young footballer, he has a long path in front of him yet, but he also has a willingness to work, and he always adds something."

That said, regarding a possible further signing, the Asturian stated:

"We are always open to the market and to strengthening the team."

The coach thought the first half against the Premier League champions was "very complete" and that "we are acquiring our physical tone".

He took the opportunity to congratulate Leicester for their title last season and said: "In football, surprises are always to be appreciated."
