Luis Enrique hasn't played the same XI in any La Liga game this season

Luis Enrique hasn't played the same XI in any La Liga game this season

Barcelona's line-up has not repeated in any of the first 11 games in La Liga. There are two theories to explain that.

The first suggests Enrique has a commitment to rotation as a premeditated working method. The second is that he has not yet found his ideal line-up.

Whatever the reason for all the changes, it seems that the team are yet to find a style of play they like. That leads to the conclusion that the alternation of players is not helping the team.

If it's not a plan and the Asturian has not yet found his 11 to base his project, we will soon learn that if eventually he does settle down.

Currently, and according to the little information he has provided in press conferences, the first theory has more weight.

Before playing against PSG, the club's first defeat this season, Enrique said: "I know when we lose a match it will be a disaster because of the rorations, but I will keep doing what I think is right and best for the team."

He argued that the club's rivals will know that Barcelona are going to try to win, but not HOW. He wants to use surprise as a weapon to win games.

The problem is that so far, the strategy has not yielded results. Especially against PSG and Real Madrid, who swept Barca away. The most worrying thing is that the team does not look like it's improving.

Sergio Busquets has new companions each game, Messi and Neymar's connection is in a slump, and only after Suarez's arrival is the front three easier to guess.
