Luis Enrique in express mode as he responds to 19 questions in 11 minutes

The press spoke more than the manager in Saturday's press conference

Luis Enrique Martínez has never hidden that the part of his job he likes the least is speaking to the media before and after games. And on Saturday, in his pre-game for Atletico Madrid-Barceloa, he made that clear with a press conference which was briefer than ever.

The Barça coach responded to a total of 19 questions, which is normal for a pre-game press conference. What was different was that Luis Enrique took just 11 minutes to answer all the questions, when he normally takes between 20 and 25 minutes.

In fact, adding up the time of the questions equates to four minutes and 54 seconds, while Luis Enrique's replies lasted just four minutes and 12 seconds, with the rest of the time spent moving the microphone around the joirnalists.

The journalists spoke more than Lucho!

He was especially curt when asked about plans to sign a right-back, the team's morale and also said he hadn't heard Pique and Alba's quotes lending him their support.

“The target is to win the game and get three points,” was the extent of his final answer.
