Luis Enrique: I don't understand the whistles at Andre Gomes, whistle me
The Barça boss wasn't impressed that the home supporters turned on their own players
Luis Enrique was whistled by sections of the Barcelona crowd on Sunday night as his side laboured to a 2-1 win over Leganes thanks to a last minute Lionel Messi penalty.
As well as a lethargic performance on the night, a lot of the fan discontent came from Tuesday's 4-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
While some sections of the ground chanted Luis Enrique's name, other parts of Camp Nou responded with whistles and jeers.
On top of that, Andre Gomes was whistled when he was taken off for Andres Iniesta after Leganes had drawn level at 1-1.
"I don't understand the whistles at Andre Gomes," Luis Enrique told Movistar after the game.
"I understand fans whistle me after result the other day. That's part of my job. But not the players, they should be supported.”
The Barça boss added: "It's evident that the team's lacking confidence. The situation is that. We knew it would be a tough game, but the truth is that everything looked well after an early goal.
"However, later they got back into the game when they had nothing to lose."
