Luis Enrique: Barça's best form is still to come!

Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi were all on target as Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 4-0 on Saturday.

Neymar had scored twice and Suarez once with more than half an hour remaining of the game and attention then turned to creating a goal for Messi.

The Argentine eventually got his goal in stoppage time - having just hit the bar - with Suarez and Neymar involved in the move that led to the goal.

Luis Enrique says it’s normal that all three wanted to score themselves - but only once the game is won.

“Once the game was settled, they all wanted to get on the score sheet,’ the Barça boss said after the game.

“That’s normal for them, but at the start of the game it’s a different matter.

“They have a great mutual understanding and if they don’t all get a goal they’re not happy.”

Barça are in great form at the moment following wins against Real Madrid, Roma and now La Real since the international break.

However, Lucho still hopes the best is yet to come from his players.

“I don’t have the feeling that we’re in our best moment of form,” he added.

“I think we played better last season, although we are playing at a very high level and that’s what interests me.

“I hope our best moment is still to come.

“Nobody wins the league in December; we now have an important month coming up, with big games in the league, cup and the Club World Cup.”
