The coach was annoyed with the idea he hasn't given chances

"If they're not at the required level, they can't come up to the first team"

Luis Enrique gave his final pre-game La Liga press conference as Barcelona manager on Saturday and, as usually happens, there was another tense moment. The Barça coach was slightly emotional and nostalgic, but he was not happy when asked about his use of B team players.

"The B team have an important game later against Cultural Leonesa, so taking advantage of that, I wanted to ask why you haven't used many B team players," Luis Enrique was asked.

And he responded: "I consider myself a coach who at all clubs has used a lot of players. I have used the players I thought were right.

"I like to use all my players, but if they're not at the [necessary] level, they can’t come up to the first team. It’s easy to say bring them up, but the players have to be at the level required."
