Luciano Vietto keeps his silence following Atletico friendly

Luciano Vietto, Atletico Madrid's Argentine forward, avoided the awaiting press after participating in his team's friendly against Numancia on Saturday.

Atletico won the match 2-0, and he played a part in the second goal, his cross forcing the opposition defender Regalon to head into his own goal.

Vietto, who will be having to decide his team for the new season in the coming hours, ran from the changing rooms afterwards, and did not stop to attend to the enquiries from the assembled media members.

He knows that at this moment in time, so crucial in his sporting career, the best option is to isolate himself and focus exclusively on making the best choice.

The player has asked for time to study the two offers on the table, a loan deal with a guaranteed starting position at Sevilla, or a permanent transfer to the Camp Nou, where competition for places is tougher.

Atletico Madrid are hoping that the Argentine chooses the latter option as they want a fresh influx of money to make their own signings this summer.
