Lucho: Luis Suarez wants to win La Liga... not the Pichichi

FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique Martinez says that Luis Suarez's only objective is to win La Liga, not the Pichichi or the Golden Shoe, although he recognised that "one thing could be connected with the other."

"The prize that Luis wants is La Liga. After that, if we win it, I am sure that he will have scored one of the goals, because our forwards usually score... one thing could be connected with the other," he said.

The Asutrian added that "everyone's objective is to win the league and the Copa del Rey, above any individual prize."

The fight for the European Golden Shoe is currently:

1. Luis Suarez (FC Barcelona): 34 goals, 68 points

2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid): 31 goals, 62 points

3. Jonas (Benfica): 31 goals, 62 points

4. Higuaín (Nápoles): 30 goals, 60 points

5. Lewandowski (Bayern Múnich): 27 goals, 54 points

6. Messi (FC Barcelona): 25 goals, 50 points

7. Ibrahimovic (PSG): 32 goals, 48 points (factor 1.5)

8. Kane (Tottenham): 24 goals, 48 points

9. Slimani (Sporting Lisboa): 24 goals, 48 points

10. Zahavi (Maccabi Tel Aviv): 31 goals, 46,5 points (factor 1.5)

The leagues in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy and England have a factor of two points per goal.
