Lowest league attendance of the season see Barça beat Leganes

There was not a big turn out at Camp Nou following Tuesday's heavy loss against PSG

Barcelona's late win over Leganes was seen by just 63,378 fans at Camp Nou on Sunday night.

Lionel Messi scored twice in between a Unai Lopez goal, with the Argentine's second coming from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.

The attendance was the worst which has been seen at Barça's home in La Liga this season.

Previously the lowest attendance had been on the opening day of the season in August, when 65,371 fans were at Camp Nou for the win over Real Betis.

However, it's not the lowest this season: just 58,560 fans were at Camp Nou for the Copa del Rey game against Real Sociedad.

As for the league, not since Feb. 2015 has there been such a low turn out in the Catalan capital -- on that occasion there were 60,005 fans present for a 3-2 win over Villarreal.
