The Sun: Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne linked with Barcelona

According to the English paper the right-back's an option to replace Aleix Vidal

Barcelona are looking for a right-back with Aleix Vidal’s future at the club in doubt.

The latest player to be linked is Liverpool’s Nathaniel Clyne, 25.

He’s impressed for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season, who have 20 points from their nine games and lead the Premier League with Manchester City and Arsenal.

Clyne, formerly of Southampton, has developed a lot in recent seasons.

His contract runs until 2020 and The Sun say it will be difficult for Barça to do a deal for the defender.

They claim the Catalan club would pay 20 million pounds for the right-back, which is around 22 million euros.

Clyne’s one of a number of players linked from the Premier League, with Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin also a target.
