Liverpool and Arsenal join the hunt for Barcelona forward Pedro

Following the news that Juventus are interested in Barcelona forward Pedro Rodriguez, as reported on SPORT earlier this week, Liverpool and Arsenal have also emerged as parties interested in the 27-year-old.

Reports in English newspaper the 'Daily Express' say that both Arsene Wenger and Brendan Rodgers are monitoring Pedro's situation very carefully.

With Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez expected to be Luis Enrique's front three, plus the explosion of Munir El Haddadi, Pedro may not be used much this season.

The article suggests Liverpool and Arsenal may even fight it out for the Spain international during the January transfer window.

It is unlikely, however, that Barça will let him leave then, especially with the FIFA transfer ban still looming over the club.

Regardless of that, though, it is clear that Pedro continues to receive admiring glances from around Europe and his future may one day be away from Camp Nou.
