Lionel Messi will be fit for Clasico on November 21

Leo Messi will be ready for the clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Argentine player received good news on his first day back in training at the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despi, where he was accompanied by Luis Suarez. THe doctors told him the duration of his recovery would be closer to seven weeks than right, so he will be ready for the November 21 Clasico.

The medcial argument is that the ligament is not broken at the top of the meniscus, and it's a partial rupture, so he will recover quicker than first anticipated. Messi will not have a game to prepare for the Clasico, as the week before there are international matches. He will not be able to be called up by Tata Martino for Argentina, even though the matches are important. He will, however, arrive fit and healthy for the Clasico.

Messi will miss eight games with Barcelona but none of them are life and death.
