Lionel Messi has rejoined Barcelona training and the squad is complete again after their mini-Christmas break. The Argentine crack was in Dubai, where he picked up the award for best player of 2015 at the Globe Soccer Awards, and on Monday joined his team-mates for a session at 11am back in the Catalan capital.
Barcelona's next game is at home, against Real Betis at Camp Nou, 8.30pm CET Wednesday. Barcelona want to end their 2015 with a big win in front of their fans, keeping on top of La Liga. They can also show off the fifth trophy they won this season - the Club World Cup.
Messi is likely to start against Betis, with the trident all featuring - Neymar and Luis Suarez the other two, of course. Barcelona have a game in hand on Atletico, because of their trip to Japan, and they shall play it against Sporting Gijon on February 17. For now, they are joint top with the Madrid club.
