Lionel Messi oddly left out of UEFA's team of the week
Despite Lionel Messi's brilliant performance against Manchester City, UEFA have not put him in their Champions League team of the week.
The Argentine was praised by coaches and players after his game, but only Luis Suarez has made it into the team, despite Barcelona beating Manchester City.
Two players from Real Madrid made it into the team, seemingly just for the fact that they both scored - Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The team is: Bernd Leno, Ivanovic, Shevchuk, Abdennour, Marcelona, Fabian Frei, Hakan Calhanoglu, Fabinho, Suarez, Ronaldo, Alvaro Morata.
