Lionel Messi leaves Argentina camp and sets off alarm bells in Barcelona

Lionel Messi has has left Barcelona and Argentina fans with their hearts in the mouths. 

The crack from Rosario set alarm bells ringing on Tuesday when he abandoned Argentina's training camp to undergo medical tests.

Several media outlets in Argentina have reported the news. 

Messi only arrived in the USA on Monday night, where there is a great deal excitement over his arrival in the country. 

Without knowing any more details, it is difficult to make any claims as to how long he will or won't be out for.

However, with big games on the horizon, including Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, alarm bells have been set off in Catalonia.
