Lionel Messi hits his 400th goal for Barcelona against Valencia

Lionel Messi's stoppage time goal against Valencia was his 400th official goal for Barcelona. 

Barça led from the first minute after Messi provided Luis Suarez the chance to open the scoring, but were lucky to get to the break with their noses in front. 

They improved in the second half, though, and Messi's late goal sealed the points and kept Luis Enrique's side in control at the top of La Liga. 

But there was more to Messi's goal than just the points. As he raced down on Diego Alves after collecting Neymar's pass, he was looking for a landmark goal in his Barça career — and he achieved it. 

Alves saved the first effort, but Messi rolled home the rebound: 400 goals in blaugrana.
