Leroy Sane moves closer to FC Barcelona transfer

Young, promising talent Leroy Sane has moved closer to a Barcelona move. According to German newspaper Bild, the Schalke 04 attacker has told his inner circle he has taken the decision to leave and move to the Catalan giants.

Sane, 20, has been linked with several big European clubs. As well as Barcelona, there's been Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool. Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has been to the Veltins Arena this season to watch him play.

L'Equipe recently said that Barcelona had reached an agreement with Schalke to sign the player in the summer, for €37million. He has played 25 games this season, with five goals and five assists.
