Knee injury keeps Ter Stegen out of training

Marc-Andre ter Stegen missed training on Tuesday and will be absent for the Copa del Rey second leg against Villanovense on Wednesday night with a knee problem.

Barcelona, though, have not confirmed how long the German goalkeeper is likely to be missing for or the severity of the injury.

That leaves the Catalan club with Jordi Masip and Claudio Bravo as the options for the game.

Sergi Samper, Gerard Gumbau and Aitor Cantalapiedra - all of Barça B - were called up to the session by Luis Enrique ahead of the Copa clash.

The first leg ended 0-0, so Barça need a win at Camp Nou to progress to the next round of the competition which they won as part of the treble last season.

Luis Enrique is expected to rotate many of his starters, although Lionel Messi could play as he seeks more minutes after his recent return from injury.
