12 key dates in the career of Barça starlet Munir El Haddadi

Munir El Haddadi has been Barcelona's sensation this season, though his path towards glory started at the club many years ago. 

He was signed up back in 2011 when he was about to turn 16 years old - he was born on September 1, 1995 in El Escorial. 

Now he has made his debut for Spain, we will look at some of the key dates in his career.

19-7-11: Barcelona seals his signing from the Rayo Majadahonda Cadet A, where he was incorporated into Barca's Youth B side, under Sergi Barjuan. 

27-07-11: A few days later in a Moroccan football blog, The Moroccan Football, he explained how he signed for Barca and then considered a hypothetical question over which of Spain or Morocco he might play for. 

31-01-14: After fine form in the lower levels, Barca renewed his deal for three seasons, until 2017. 

03-01-14: Eusebio brings him on for Barca B in the league match against RCD Mallorca (1-2), he plays the last 18 minutes in place of Sandro. 

14-04-14: With the Youth team under Jodri Vinyals, he scored a great goal in the UEFA Youth League, notching 11 in total making him the highest goalscorer and assister for the tournament. 

19-04-14: He scored his first goal for Barca B, against Girona. It finished 2-1 to his side and he played 87 minutes. 

05-05-14: He played his last Barca youth game, in the quarter finals of their Champions Cup clash, but it ended badly, with a 4-2 defeat against Real Madrid. 

14-07-14: He started the pre-season with the first team, as Luis Enrique's era began. 

19-07-14: He played his first Barcelona game, a friendly against Recreativo Huelva, where he featured in the first half. 

18-08-14: He made his debut at Camp Nou in the Joan Gamper trophy against Leon (6-0). He scored the fifth and sixth goals. 

24-08-14: He made his debut in La Liga against Elche, as a starter. He played 66 minutes. He scored the second of the three goals. He also played 58 minutes against Villarreal. 

08-09-14: He made his debut with the Spanish national team, in an official Euro 2016 qualifier in a 5-1 win over Macedonia. He replaced Koke for the last 15 minutes.
