Kevin Gameiro and Lucas Perez on Barcelona's transfer radar

Sevilla’s Kevin Gameiro and Deportivo La Coruña’s Lucas Perez are two forwards on Barcelona’s agenda for next season.

Barça are looking for attackers who can cover absences of any of the trident - Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar - and are scouring the market for options.

They want players of a certain profile, who are good technically and score goals, but also players who are happy to play second fiddle to the MSN. A role that not all players would be willing to accept or able to do.

Gameiro, who will play for Sevilla in the Europea League semi-final on Thursday night, and Lucas Perez are two of the players on the list, TV3 have reported.

The former is a French forward who joined the Sevilla in 2013 from Paris Saint-Germain, while the latter joined Depor in 2014 after a spell with PAOK Salonika - he had previously played for Dinamo Kyiv, Karpaty Lviv and Rayo Vallecano.

As well as Newcastle’s Ayoze Perez, who was linked with Barça by the Daily Mirror, these are just some of the players supposedly being watched by the Catalan club, who failed to land Celta Vigo’s Nolito in January.
