Juan Pablo Sorin says Neymar is as good as Leo Messi

Juan Pablo Sorin, former Barcelona player, gave an interview to UOL Esporte, the Brazilian media source. Sorin says he loves football and plans each week based around which games are on television. he currently lives in Brazil.

Sorin said: "Neymar is already battling with the best, he's already arriving at Messi's level, improving more and more. He did very well at the Olympics after a lot of criticism. He's better every day and growing a lot."

"They are different personalities. As Messi evolved with his experiences with Argentina, Neymar knows too what he wants and when he is in good physical shape, he has it all."

Maradona and Pele

"I saw Maradona play, I didn't see Pele. I saw videos of Pele and it's not the same thing as to see him live, when he becomes champion of the world [like Maradona]. The good thing about Maradona is that he felt the Argentina shirt in a different way. Few athletes in the world felt the shirt like Diego did, that's his personality."
