Juan Guillermo Cuadrado wants Barcelona switch from Fiorentina

The return of Juan Guillermo Cuadrado to Florence after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil has been very normal.

Like each day he has played in the Italian city, the Colombian went for breakfast at Il Pappagallo, a cafe near his home, where he has a cappuccino and a cream pastry.

After his medical check up, as revealed by violanews.com, Cuadrado returned and talked with Nereo Barbieri, one of the owners of the shop.

"He wanted to say hello on the phone to my daughter Gaia, but he is not talking about his future."

Barbieri thinks Fiorentina star Cuadrado has a heart of gold.

"He and his family have proven to be wonderful peope. We encourage him to stay in Florence, but if he goes we will look out for him.

"I think that Cuadrado is happy here but footballers are ambitious and Barcelona appears to be pretty tempting. It's the only Spanish club that can convince him."

He thinks that if Manchester United were winning the race, Cuadrado would stay.

"I'm sure if Manchester were in front (for his signature) Cuadrado would have more doubts and probably would stay at Fiorentina."
