The player ended the B team's game injured at the weekend

He was unable to train with the first team on Monday

Barcelona have the second leg of their Copa del Rey tie against Real Murcia on Wednesday. The Blaugrana won the first leg 3-0 and one of their key players in that win was Jose Arnaiz, who scored at fine goal at the Nueva Condomina. The forward, however, is not guaranteed to feature this week at Camp Nou after ending the B team's game against Almeria with a problem.

Arnaiz was unable to take part in training with the first team on Monday, with Ernesto Valverde calling up a number of B team players. Those who did train were Cuenca, Vitinho, Cardona, Oriol Busquets, David Costas, Aleñá and Ortolá. The wait will go on for news about Arnaiz's fitness, but in the meantime the same players are expected to train with the first team again on Tuesday.

Valverde has a special interest in the reserve team's defenders given the first team's shortage in that position, above all because of the injury to Javier Mascherano and the threat of a suspension for Samuel Umtiti, who has four yellow cards. David Costas and Jorge Cuenca are the two centre-backs currently training with the first team.
