Jordi Vinyals says a lack of respect is causing Barça B's struggles

Jordi Vinyals didn't bite his tongue when speaking about the current situation at Barça B in a press conference on Friday.

FC Barcelona's second string are in free fall and lost their last game against Alcorcon to remain in the relagation zone in La Segunda.

"Without the values of responsibility, intensity, solidarity, humility... there is no team," he said.

"And without a team, we will not achieve our objectives.

"The situation with [Alen] Halilovic makes it evident what has happened and what is happening with this team."

The Croatian midfielder was taken off last weekend after 27 minutes to make way for a goalkeeper after Adrian Ortola was sent off, and he didn't take it well.

Vinyals continued in a convincing manner: "I think the whole issue is the values of La Masia have degenerated.

"We are working on it. We want the players to have respect among each other, for the club, for the manager...

"They need to remember these values because without them it is difficult to have a team."

Vinyals put himself at the front of the line in the list of those responsible for ensuring these values are restored across the club's youth teams.
