Jordi Alba: We deserve to win the Copa del Rey trophy
The defender spoke to Barcelona TV ahead of the clash with Alaves on Saturday
Cillessen says it will be a tough game and Barcelona have to have a lot of the ball
Jordi Alba spoke about the Copa del Rey final clash with Alaves in an interview with Barca TV. He said to beat Mauricio Pellegrino's side the team needs to play well but it's a title "that the team deserve for the level they have shown this season".
"It will be a game against a very strong rival who have done well in the league and cup," said Alna.
"The cup is an attractive competition for any player, for the amount of fans who come and the atmosphere created. To win we have to have the ball and make them tried of running, to have chances and show our best version of ourself, because if not it will be very tricky."
Alba noted that last year things were tough in the Vicente Calderon in the final against Sevilla. "It was tough to break tham down and thanks to Messi I could score the first goal of the game," he said, of Barcelona's 28th Copa win.
