Jordi Alba could miss Super Cup final with adductor injury

FC Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba may not be fit for the Super Cup final first leg against Sevilla on Sunday night. He has a problem with his adductor.

According to Catalunya Radio, the stomach pains that stopped him playing in the Joan Gamper have been added to by adductor trouble. As a consequence, one of Luis Enrique's key men is likely to miss the first game of the season.

Alba has not played a single minute of pre-season, and Lucas Digne, the new signing, is set to be his replacement.

The Frenchman played 90 minutes in pre-season, 30 against Liverpool and then 60 in the Joan Gamper. Mathieu and Juan Camara can also play in the position if necessary.
