Jordi Alba on Barça's dip in form, Luis Enrique & Messi's 'celebration'

The left-back was speaking at an event on the outskirts of Barcelona on Wednesday night

Jordi Alba spoke about current events at Barcelona at the presentation of 'Gol a Gol', the left-back's football school. Alba was hopeful in respect of the future and, in the same line as Gerard Pique on Monday, defended Luis Enrique's work: "We all have to take responsibility. I think we all have. The manager makes decisions and the players play, and we're the ones who have to show our faces."

Barça's difficulties developing their play and moving the ball out from the back is one of the major debates. For Alba, it normal, because all teams study Barcelona more and more. Can the team get out against high pressing sides? "It's always difficult when teams know you much better than in years previously. Among everyone we have to find the solution."

Luis Enrique is another figure at the centre of the debates. Alba highlighted the team's faith in him: "The relationship with the coach is the same as always. We've had three wonderful years with him. He's clear with all the players. We know what he wants and we're all with him. He is the best manager that Barcelona can have. Personally, he's helped me become a better player. I'm with him until the death."

The team's frame of mind has taken a knock after the loss to Paris Saint-Germain. Alba admits it's not been easy to deal with that disappointment, but he's convinced the team can pick themselves up and move forward.

He added: "We see oursevles as capable. There's still a long time until the second leg, we know it's tough but it will depend on how PSG come out against us. We spoke about it the other day. We've beaten good teams 4-0 at Camp Nou. When there are bad results, the mood always takes a hit. But it has to happen once a season. We're not in crisis. I see the team with a desire to kick on."

Asked about Messi, he said: "All the players are in the same line. There are more important things than celebrating a goal. You'll have to ask him."
