Jeremy Mathieu's Achilles tendon injury keeps him out of Bayern Munich clash
Jeremy Mathieu has been ruled out of Barcelona's Champions League semi-final clash with Bayern Munich on Wednesday night.
The French international has hurt his Achilles tendon in his right leg.
It is as yet unknown if Mathieu will be able to return to action at the weekend, when Barcelona host David Moyes' Real Sociedad, or if he will be fit for the Allianz Arena on May 12.
Luckily for Barcelona, Jordi Alba is fine; after training alone on Monday he participated normally on Tuesday and will be ready to face Pep Guardiola's team at the Camp Nou.
