Jeremy Mathieu says Gerard Pique was cold towards him at first
Television channel France 2 on Saturday showed a report in which Jeremy Mathieu, Barcelona centre-back, said that forming a partnership with Gerard Pique was hard at first.
"At first it was difficult because I noticed that he was a little reticent with me," said the former Valencia player - surprisngly honest.
"After a few games we created a bit of feeling together, and now I think everything's going better."
This is not the first time Mathieu has been so frank.
In January he confirmed that there had been a confrontation between Barcelona coach Luis Enrique and star man Lionel Messi, when everyone else had denied it.
