Jeremy Mathieu rejoins Barça training in afternoon session

Jeremy Mathieu has been reincorporated into Barcelona training on Thursday afternoon after being unable to take part in the morning session.

The Catalan club confirmed that the Frenchman wasn't present due to a lack of sleep during Wednesday night and was therefore weak and tired.

In any case, it seems that it was just a blip for Mathieu as a few hours later he was able to rejoin his team-mates on the St. George's Park pitch.

Martin Montoya, however, has been sidelined since Wednesday after suffering discomfort in the abductor muscle of his right leg.

The rumours of a move to Valencia may also play a role as it would prove detrimental if a transfer to the Estadio de Mestalla was to materialise.
