Jean-Sylvain Babin: There is a formula to stop Lionel Messi
Granada defender Jean-Sylvain Babin thinks that there is a "formula" which can be used to prevent Lionel Messi from running riot.
Malaga beat Barcelona 1-0 at the Camp Nou last week and Granada hope to do the same on Saturday afternoon at the Estadio Los Carmenes.
Babin said: "There is a formula to stop Messi. If you defend very well, staying close between the lines, and then quickly counter-attacking and keeping the ball."
Granada are 19th in the table and desperate for points, and Babin knows that fans will find anything less than 100 per cent effort unacceptable.
"We need three points and cannot fail," Babin said. "The fans and the club did not deserve this situation and we are fighting to change it."
