Jasper Cillessen asks Ajax to let him head to Barcelona

Jasper Cillessen is impatient. He wants to become Barcelona's next goalkeeper. The Dutch stopper, who didn't play against Willem II for Ajax on Saturday, as asked to be able to leave for Barcelona immediately, avoiding the Champions League qualifying clash against Rostov on Wednesday. 

SPORT revealed Cillessen and the Dutch club were negotiating because the game is extremely important for Ajax, but the goalkeeper does not want to risk getting injured before his move. 

Ajax drew the first leg 1-1 and need to travel to Russia to get a good result. In play, as well as qualification for the Champions League, are millions of euros, and Ajax want the keeper to make one more effort before he goes to Barcelona. They are signing Tim Krul from Newcastle, but he is currently injured. 

Barcelona want Cillessen to take his medical as soon as possible and sign the deal ahead of next weekend's clash, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen should be back for that anyway. Bravo, for his part, was absent from training to finish up negotiating his deal with Man City.
