Japan goes crazy for Andres Iniesta's arrival
The Barcelona legend will join up with his new team, Vissel Kobe, after spending a few weeks on holiday following Spain's World Cup exit
Andres Iniesta's arrival in Japan has sparked great expectation amongst its fans. Iniesta will join up with his teammates at Vissel Kobe this Wednesday and the supporters can't get enough of their new signing. Iniesta is a phenomenon in Japan and the streets were filled as he landed on their soil.
Iniesta was given a short holiday following his World Cup campaign with Spain and now starts his adventure in Japan. After two decades at Barcelona, the former captain is ready for a different challenge in his life.
Iniesta was officially presented by Vissel Kobe at the end of May by the club's owner, Hiroshi Mikitani, who is also the president of Barcelona's main sponsor Rakuten.
Andres signed a three year contract at Vissel.
