Jamie Vardy reveals Luis Suarez's request from pre-season friendly
Vardy was surprised by Suarez at half-time of the two teams' clash in pre-season

Months later, striker Jamie Vardy revealed something that happened during the game involving Luis Suarez. He gave an interview to the Times Magazine, and revealed a surprise encounter. Suarez came to him in the tunnel at half-time and asked for his shirt.
"I knew that all my team-mates wre going to try and get a shirt in this game and I had decided before I wouldn't ask for one," he said. "At half-time Luis Suarez asked if I would give him my shirt."
Logically Vardy decided to do that, turning Suarez into a fan for one day, instead of an idol.
