Ivan Rakitic: The important thing is to win titles

"The truth is we were not thinking about the record, only on having a good game and keeping a positive dynamic. It's very good to get to this mark but the important thing, truly, are the titles," said Ivan Rakitic after Barcelona drew 1-1 with Valencia and reached the Copa del Rey final. 

"We have qualified for the final and I think we are very happy with it. Despite the 7-0 win in the first leg we had a lot of enthusiasm to have a good game, and I'm happy, above all, for the performances of the young players. They had a good chance to show their level and they showed it."

On his false nine position, he said: "In training we work to find alternatives and I've played a bit further forward. It's a shame I couldn't finish any chances."

Of the 29 games unbeaten, Lucho beating Pep's record, he said: "I suffered as an opponent and the only thing I can say is I enjoy being in Barcelona more than out of it. Pep's team was very great and ours too. We can be happy with what we are doing."
