Ivan Rakitic: It hurts to lose the game like this, we had no luck

Ivan Rakitic said after losing to Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan that Barcelona deserved much more. "It hurts to lose like this," he stated. "We have had a load of chances, but [Sevilla], with the first they had, scored and then they got a second." 

The Barça midfielder, who started the game against his former club, insisted that "it always hurts to lose, but today more because we have lost without having any luck. Now we have to pick ourselves up continue working hard." 

With regards to Barça injury list, the Croatian continued: "We have important absences, but that's part of football. It hurts to have so many people out, but now we have to hope they recover as quickly as possible. All teams have players out, but you can't think about that. We had chances to score, but it wasn't to be." 

As for Luis Enrique's complaints about people being out to get Barça this season, Rakitic said that "we have won everything and everyone wants to beat the champion. Sometimes it's a shame what happens, but what we have to do is continue with the same strength and keep moving forward."
