Iniesta set for game 600 in a Barcelona shirt this weekend

The midfielder has made 599 appearances for the club and should reach the milestone at Balaidos

Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta will play his 600th official game for the club against Celta Vigo this weekend. It comes in his 15th season with the first team. He made his debut on Oct. 29, 2002, 13 years, 11 months and one day ago. Or said in another way: 5,085 days have been spent in the first team by Iniesta.

Throughout this time, he’s played 599 games. He’s one away from 600, which should come in Vigo on Sunday if Luis Enrique selects him, as it seems he will. The midfielder from Fuentealbilla stands out for the number of wins he featured in (406, 67.7 per cent) and the number of titles he’s won (29).
