Iniesta could make Barcelona return in December Clasico against Madrid
Andres Iniesta could be in condition to play in the Clasico against Real Madrid on December 3. The midfielder underwent tests at Barcelona’s training ground and it’s been confirmed he will miss six to eight weeks of actions.
After returning from Valencia, Iniesta went straight to the training ground for a scan. The club then said: “The first team player Andres Iniesta has injured the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee following tests on his return to Barcelona after the team's away victory at Valencia. The midfielder is expected to be out for some 6 to 8 weeks.”
Analysing the calendar, the sixth week of the midfielder’s absence coincides with the first Clasico of the season. If his recovery goes well, he could be ready to feature against Madrid at Camp Nou.
