How Neymar reacted to Atletico Madrid fans' insults

The relationship between Neymar and Atletico Madrid has never been good and last Wednesday’s clash was no exception. During the game the Brazilian forward was attacked by Rojiblanco players on the pitch, and the fans off of it,

As he was leaving the pitch at the end of the game Neymar headed to the dressing room with his team-mates, and a big group of Atletico fans waited for him to insult him by the tunnel.

The Brazilian put up two fingers in response - referring to the two goals that Barcelona scored against Atletico in their 2-1 win.

The Madrid press, in this case Diario AS, did not wait long to call the gesture a provocation. 

Atletico players clearly went out onto the pitch with the intention of attacking Neymar - of the 20 fouls produced by Simeone’s team, eight were on the Barcelona forward.

However he will not be able to take part in the second leg having been booked and suspended for next Tuesday’s clash.
