Claudio Bravo: Started as Man City beat Man United, made a mistake for the goal but Pep Guardiola hailed his display.

Marc Bartra: Started the defeat by Dortmund against Leipzig, a fixture in central defence. 

Alen Halilovic: Played four minutes at the end of his team's 3-1 defeat byBayer Leverkusen. Usually comes on in second halves.

Dani Alves: Allegri rested him after playing for Brazil, Juve won 3-1.

Cristian Tello: Started in Fiorentina's 0-0 draw at Genoa.

Adriano Correia: Played the final 30 minutes of Besiktas's 3-1 win over Karabukspor. 

Thomas Vermaelen: Injured after starting the first two games of the season. Roma beat Sampadoria 3-2.

Sandro Ramirez: Started for Malaga but taken off after half time as his team lost 2-0 to Villarreal. 

Martin Montoya: Played the second half for Valencia against Betis, his team lost 3-2.

Munir El Haddadi: Debuted for Valencia, hitting the bar and impressing after his introduction with 26 minutes to go.

Sergi Samper: Started for Granada but they lost 2-1 at home to Eibar.

Alex Song: Will play on Monday for Rubin Kazan against Ural. 

Douglas: Was not picked in the squad as Sporting beat Leganes 2-1.
