Guardiola on Iniesta: "It was impossible not to play him, I saw that he was different..."

The whole world would agree that Andres Iniesta's qualities don't just lie in being a football, but also as a human being.

Cheered wherever he goes, the midfielder is an example to follow, even if he does not consider himself "more or less humble than any other person."

On his way of being and a thousand more matters, Victor Valdes and Josep Guardiola have spoke to 'Telecinco' for a special report on Iniesta, which will be aired on Thursday evening.

When asked about his exemplary attitude, Iniesta responded like this: "I don't consider myself any more or less humble than any other person. I'm not the best, nor am I the worst. I'm as I have been since I was in my village. I don't change depending on where I am."

As for Valdes, who has a great relationship with Iniesta, he said of the Spain international: "I've always said he is my brother, more than a friend, because a brother will never let you down."

Guardiola remembers fondly coaching Iniesta. "He's so good that it is impossible not to play him. I could see that he was different. Nobody has a better reading of space and time than him.

"But, above that, he has the ability to unbalance opposition teams. He is the player that always kills you in attacks and he is always there in the biggest games."

Iniesta's dad also speaks in the show. "When I arrived [in Barcelona] I left him at La Masia and went to sleep at a hotel. I thought I was dying. There was no oxygen in the room. He gave me an anxiety attack, so I pakced up to go and pick him up again. If not for his mother, I'd have took him [home]."
