Josep Guardiola has ruled out ever returning to Barcelona, the club he managed for four years and represented as a player, in quotes ran by 'elconfidencial.com'.
"If you see me going back to Barcelona, hit me in the head with a hammer," the Catalan reportedly said.
These words were supposedly spoken during a conversation with one of his closest friends when he was asked if the elections at Barça could see him return to the club.
Guardiola is currently in his second season in charge of Bayern Munich and has no immediate plans to leave.
Manchester City have been suggested as a possible destination for the 44-year-old, but he told a press conference on Tuesday he has no plans to leave Germany.
