Gerard Pique hits back at SER and won't give them interviews
The network published a sweepstake on their Twitter account which he took offence to
Pique then launched a poll of his own and the results mean he will not speak to them again
Gerard Pique has slapped down Cadena SER. On Sunday afternoon their programme Carrusel Deportivo launched a Twitter draw where their followers had to guess what minute the defender would get booked in against Valencia. One of the winners would get a Pique shirt.
He had four yellow cards and they were insinuating he would force a fifth to be suspended for the game against Granada and then be clear to play vs Sevilla and the Clasico after that.
The defender, once the game was over and his booking was avoided, hit back at the network.
He sarcastically wrote "What a fun poll! Well done for the creativity.. in a few minutes I will make a draw of my own."
Qué sorteo más divertido! Felicidades por la creatividad! En breves momentos yo también voy a realizar un sorteo... https://t.co/i7tWzu80wq

Then he published a poll which said: "SER asked me to do an interview during the international break. After the brilliant idea of their draw, how should I respond?"
The four options were "Yes, despite the draw!, "No, thanks", "No, how about next year" and "No, never again". Pique said that one of the winners would get a shirt from his from the Spain team.
Eventually, with 28 per cent, the winner was "No, never again".
La SER me ha pedido hacer una entrevista durante el periodo de la Selección. Después de la brillante idea de su sorteo, qué debo responder?

El sorteo se realizará entre los que acierten la respuesta más votada. El ganador se llevará una camiseta mía de la Selección!
