Gerard Pique and Arda Turan unable to train normally on Friday

Barcelona were dealt some bad news with neither Gerard Pique or Arda Turan training with the team ahead of the trip to Alaves.

The defender worked alone, while the Turk has a groin issue, adding to the already missing Rafinha Alcantara and Javier Mascherano.

If Pique misses the game it means Luis Enrique will have to partner Samuel Umtiti with Jeremy Mathieu at the heart of the defence.

Arda Turan's absence will not be felt as much because Neymar returns after suspension so he can play on the left wing, while both Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets are likely to play in midfield after coming back as substitutes against Atletico.
