The Italian newspaper reports that Napoli rejected the offer out of hand

The player can play anywhere across the forward line

Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Napoli turned down a €60 million offer for their Italian forward Lorenzo Insigne just a few days ago. The Naples club refused to negotiate as they have no need or desire to sell the player. Barça have shown an interest in the player previously and stepped up this interest after Neymar moved to PSG. However, the move seems dead now that negotiations for Coutinho and Dembélé have progressed.

Insigne is a star in Italy and can play all along the forward line but prefers to play on the left wing. He’s quick, direct and always looking to be involved. He is a player who draws admiring glances from clubs all over Europe.

Coincidentally, Liverpool are looking at him as a possible replacement for Coutinho, should the Brazilian leave Anfield. And although Napoli have declared he is not for sale, it seems like anything could happen this summer.
