Gabigol would love to link up with Neymar at Barcelona
The Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro are over and now the Brazilian football team’s Gold medal party has finished, Gabigol has to make a decision on his future.
The Brazilian forward has a large list of offers to analyse: “Up until now, it was not the moment to think about anything because my attention was completely on the Olympics.
“Now I will celebrate with my family, then I will return to Santos and think about what I should do.”
Questioned about the chances of moving to European football and signing for FC Barcelona, Gabigol didn’t bite his tongue, especially in regards to the possibility of linking up with Neymar.
“It would be beautiful to play alongside Neymar. He is a great player and Barca are a great club,” he added.
The problem is that Santos have already received a number of offers for the 19-year-old’s services. Barça have a priority option to sign him, but there’s interest from the Premier League and, above all, from Inter and Juventus.
