Former Barça player Samuel Eto'o could join Adriano at Besiktas

Samuel Eto'o is attracting interest from a host of clubs across Europe including Besiktas, who are on the brink of officially announcing a deal for Barcelona's Adriano Correia.

As reported by Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Mario Gomez's departure from Istanbul has led Besiktas to urgently search for a new striker. Eto'o has been put forward as the man to fill the void, and - given he currently plays for Antalyaspor - the Cameroonian is already accustomed to the style of the Super Lig.

The 35-year-old joined Antalyaspor from Sampdoria in 2015 and scored 20 goals in 32 games last season, reaching six assists in addition to his goalscoring feats.
